When asked if she is still willing to portray the role of Darna now that the Mars Ravelo classic is reportedly making a TV comeback courtesy of ABS-CBN, Angel Locsin said "Nasabi sa akin, pero wala pa kasing story presentation. Of course, gusto ko rin gawin 'to. Sino ba naman ang hindi mae-excite, di ba? Pero, tingnan din natin.
"Pero iniisip ko rin na ang Darna magandang vehicle na magpa-push ng baguhang artista. Baka naman puwedeng ibigay sa mas fresh, mas bago na mas maganda ang kakalabasan."

Engelman, Janice Formichella, and Sarah Couture Pope is set to file a collective complaint before the Philippine Senate Ethics Committee against Senator Vicente "Tito" Sotto III for allegedly using their articles in the Senator's August 13 and 15 speech during the heated reproductive health debate at the Senate.
Part of their complaint states:
Neither Senator Sotto nor anyone associated with him requested permission to use our articles and blog entries, or contacted us or anyone associated with our publications."We find this misuse of our work to be deceptive, unethical, illegal and unacceptable."
