90's Pinoy Band Frontman Bong Pascasio Of Grin Department Died Today
MANILA, Philippines - Pinoy 90's Rock band "Grin Department" frontman singer Geneviere "Bong" Pascasio died today, November 9 due to colon cancer.
Bong Pascasio's death was confirmed by his daughter Gege in her official Facebook page saying "May you rest in peace dad. I love you so much and we will miss you. You [are a] legend!".
Last May, the Grin Department singer was reported suffering from chronic abdominal disease and confined at Sta. Ana Hospital in Manila where Bong underwent a tumor removal operation. And only this year, a picture of Bong clamoring for a public assistance spread in Facebook and other sites:
Grin Department was famous for their songs like "Buy One, Take Two", "Miss U (Miss Miss Sa Loob Ng Jeepney)", "Simbang Gabi", "Syota Ng Bayan" and "Sion".
