Rugby Player Andrew James Wolff Represents Philippines In Mister World 2012
MANILA, Philippines - Philippine Volcanoes Rugby Player and professional model Andrew James Wolff is chosen as the official delegate of the country for the forthcoming male pageant Mister World 2012 in England.
Andrew James Wolff is a Filipino-British print and ramp model and apparently a professional athlete. He's a member of the Rugby team named Philippine Volcanoes who recently defeated South Korea in HSBC Asian Seven Series where they earned their slot in the 2013 World Cup Sevens.
According to Mister World Philippines franchise holder, Cory Quirino, Andrew James Wolff bested more than 25 candidates who underwent a private judging contrary to a national competition. There was a time constraint as for the search since the franchise was granted only 3 weeks ago.
Mister World is not only a male pageant but a delegate must be able to participate in the "army combat" themed competition.
"When I heard of the requirement [of being able to participate in] the army combat competition, I thought we really need to send someone who is strong and who is a professional athlete," Cory Quirino quipped.
Andrew James Wolff assured his fellow Filipinos "do the very best I can to represent the Philippines, in the way it should be represented, and hopefully we can come back with [the crown]".
The Mister World 2012 will be held in Kent County Showground, Kent, England on November 24, 2012 and 56 delegates will vie for the title and Kamal Ibrahim of Ireland will handover the Mister World cup.
