Carousel Productions Breaks Silence Over Miss Earth Russia 2012 Playboy Scandal
MANILA, Philippines - Carousel Productions through its Executive Vice President Lorraine Schuck has released a statement in response to a Playboy photo scandal of Miss Earth Russia 2012 Natalia Pereverzeva.


In a published article by Mario Dumaual of ABS-CBNNews, here's what the Executive Vice President's statement:

"We cannot enforce our own cultural standards on candidates from other countries. Since Miss Earth is a global endeavor, Miss Russia was chosen through a legitimate official process in her country."

In addition, Carousel Productions explained that Natalia Pereverzeva did not violate any moral standards and her pictorial was not as daring as the other European candidate who was not allowed to join the pageant.


Meanwhile, Natalia Pereverzeva kept mum about the issue but when asked by ABS-CBNNews regarding it, the Miss Earth Russia 2012 beauty exclaimed:

"I don't think that's a good question for Miss Earth. Real beauty should be not only natural beauty but the beauty should come from the inside!"

The Miss Earth 2012 finals night will be held at Versailles Palace, Alabang, Muntinlupa City on November 24 with live telecast via Star World at 8:00PM.
