The Entertainment Lifestyle: Lea, Eugene & Edgar Nominated At BroadwayWorld Philippines Awards

Lea, Eugene & Edgar Nominated At BroadwayWorld Philippines Awards
MANILA, Philippines - Philippine theater made a huge comeback as enthusiast and fans flocked together to watch notable and recently staged productions of Bona, Nine and Walang Kukurap.


Now, the BroadwayWorld New York through Oliver Oliveros, a Filipino working with the company has recently announced its nominees for the BroadwayWorld Philippines Awards.

Filipino artists including world-renowned stage singer-actress Lea Salonga and comedienne Eugene Domingo were one of the nominees for Best Actress in a Play for God Of Carnage and Bona respectively.


Edgar Allan Guzman from the stage play Bona is nominated for Best Actor in a Play and so with Art Acuña for God Of Carnage

Singer Rachelle Ann Go is nominated for Best Actress in a Musical and Best Crossover Artist for her role in Disney's The Little Mermaid, singer Jett Pangan for Best Featured Actor in a Musical for Rock Of Ages and Erik Santos for Best Crossover Artist for Disney's The Little Mermaid

Meanwhile veteran actress Cherie Gil and Eula Valdez are both nominated for Best Featured Actress in a Musical for their participation in the musical play Nine

And finally, singer Vina Morales and actress Nadine Samonte are both nominated for Best Crossover Artist for their plays Rock Of Ages and The Seagull respectively.
