The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2 Earns $162M Worldwide On Its Opening Day
HOLLYWOOD - The epic ending of Breaking Dawn Part 2, the last installment of The Twilight Saga film franchise made a remarkable box office opening of $71,200,000 in the US and $91,000,000 overseas to a total of $162,200,000.


It is considered as the 6th highest box office opening of a film in US history and it is slightly below the previous franchises namely: The Twilight Saga: New Moon ($72,703,754) and The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1 ($71,642,526). Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows Part 2 still holds the record of the highest US box office opening of $91,071,119.


The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2 is expected to take in $135.3 million for its debut weekend in the US market. Below are some of the movie stills:
