People Magazine Named Channing Tatum As The Sexiest Man Alive 2012
HOLLYWOOD - Magic Mike lead star and producer Channing Tatum was named 2012 Sexiest Man Alive by the People Magazine.
Channing Tatum grabbed the honor from last year's winner Bradley Cooper and he's now in the list of past sexiest men including Ryan Reynolds, Johnny Depp, Hugh Jackman, Matt Damon, George Clooney, Mathew McConaughey, Jude Law, Ben Affleck, Pierce Brosnan and Brad Pitt to name a few.
The popularity of Channing Tatum this year is perhaps attributed to his 3 box office hit films including The Vow opposite Rachel McAdams with an estimated earnings of $196M+ (budget of $30M), 21 Jump Street with Jonah Hill for a box office total of $201M+ (budget of $42M) and lastly his comedy-sexy-drama film Magic Mike with ensemble cast including Alex Pettyfer, Cody Horn, Matt Bomer, Joe Manganiello and Matthew McConaughey which earned an impressive total of $158M from a $7M budget.
For 2013, Channing Tatum will be part of the ensemble cast of G.I. Joe: Retaliation or the second installment of the film starring Dwayne Johnson and Bruce Willis. And another 3 films lined-up for him: Side Effects, White House Down and Foxcatcher.
